Arid Software was founded in the summer of 2020 with the belief that people and relationships matter more than code. Writing software is fun, but ultimately software has to solve human problems.
Project Description:
Arid Software wanted to have a brand that match its development philosophy, "to solve human problems." During our discovery session desert themes and colors kept being mentioned. When I asked about why those themes were important, they mentioned that their development code is very dry and that they viewed it as a tool to solve bigger issues so they always had a visual of the desert. Working with this visual I created a color palette that gave the feeling of the desert. The icon is a play on the open bracket and greater-than and less-than signs, signs that are heavily used in software development.
